About the Trust

Built to turn sponsorship into a livelihood

Dev's Foundation Trust is a public charitable trust registered on 1 November 2022, working at the intersection of skill development, rural livelihoods and emerging technology such as drones and geospatial systems.

Why we exist

India's drone, geospatial and digital economy is creating new kinds of jobs faster than most training systems can reach the people who need them most: rural youth, women in Self Help Groups, ITI graduates and small farmers. Dev's Foundation Trust was set up to close that gap by funding training directly, through individual donations and corporate CSR, rather than only advocating for it.

The Trust works alongside its promoter group's existing drone and geospatial technology operations, which gives it practical access to training infrastructure, simulators and industry placement contacts, while the Trust itself remains a separate, independently governed charitable entity.

Vision

A skilled, self reliant India

A country where rural livelihoods, women's enterprise and emerging technology careers grow together, rather than leaving entire communities behind.

Mission

Fund the skill, not just the idea

To sponsor practical, employment linked training in agriculture, drone and aerospace technology, digital skills and entrepreneurship, with transparent reporting on where every rupee goes.

Approach

Sponsor, train, track, report

Every programme is designed to be sponsored seat by seat or batch by batch, delivered by qualified partners, and reported back to donors and CSR partners against clear milestones.

Objectives

What the Trust Deed sets out to do

  • Promote skill development and vocational training, with an emphasis on drone, aerospace and geospatial technology
  • Support agricultural livelihoods through technology adoption and training for farmers and FPOs
  • Advance women's empowerment through training, Self Help Group partnerships and enterprise support
  • Promote rural development through digital literacy and community technology access
  • Support entrepreneurship, market access and incubation for graduates of its training programmes
  • Improve employment pathways through placement assistance, internships and industry exposure
Objectives above are summarised from the stated mission. Please check them against the exact wording of the registered Trust Deed before publishing, since the deed's precise clauses govern what the Trust can legally spend on.
