Draft, pending trustee approval

Photo, Video and Media Consent Policy

To require documented consent before any photo, video or recorded story of a real person is published on this website or in Trust communications.

Key provisions

  • No individual's photo, video or named story is published without that person's, or a minor's parent or guardian's, signed or recorded consent
  • The Gallery and testimonial placeholders on this site are built this way on purpose: boxes stay empty until consented material exists
  • Consent covers a stated set of uses, such as the website and specific social channels, and does not extend automatically to other uses
  • A person may withdraw consent and request removal of their media at any time, subject to a reasonable technical turnaround

Escalation

Media consent queries or withdrawal requests go to the Content Editor, then to the Program Manager.
