Draft, pending trustee approval
Sponsorship Terms and Conditions
To set out what a sponsor is funding when they sponsor a student, a seat, or a batch through the Sponsor a Student or Skill Development pages.
Key provisions
- Sponsoring a seat funds training cost for a specific beneficiary or batch, not a direct cash transfer to that individual
- Beneficiary profiles shown to sponsors are anonymised and shown only with the beneficiary's documented consent
- If a sponsored programme is cancelled before it starts, the sponsor's contribution is, at their choice, redirected to a similar programme or refunded under the Refund Policy
- Sponsors receive programme progress updates; full case level reporting is limited to protect beneficiary privacy
- A sponsorship does not create an employment, guardianship or other legal relationship between the sponsor and the beneficiary
Escalation
Sponsorship queries go to the Program Manager, then to Grievance Redressal if unresolved.
