Draft, pending trustee approval

Whistleblower and Reporting Policy

To let anyone, inside or outside the Trust, report a genuine concern about misconduct without fear of retaliation.

Key provisions

  • A concern can be raised about fraud, safeguarding, financial irregularity, or serious policy breach
  • Reports should go to a channel independent of the person the concern is about; until a dedicated channel is set up, use the contact details on this page and mark the message as confidential
  • The Trust does not retaliate against a person who raises a concern in good faith, even if the concern is later not substantiated
  • Confidentiality is maintained to the extent possible, and is not guaranteed where disclosure is legally required

Escalation

Raised directly with the Managing Trustee, or to the full Board where the concern involves the Managing Trustee.
